On Friday, July 11th, 2025, a creative workshop took place at in:takt from 12 pm to 6 pm. Participants had the opportunity to explore various stations, including pottery painting, drawing with textile markers, and painting with acrylic and watercolor paints. The workshop was led by a member of the in:takt team in close collaboration with a staff member from the International Office of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
The aim of the workshop was to offer a creative space especially for English-speaking visitors, including international and Erasmus students of Otto von Guericke University, who are directly connected to the International Office. Overall, the goal was to provide an open environment where everyone could freely express their creativity without strict guidelines. To achieve this, a variety of unique options were offered—many of which are rarely available in the local area.
Especially the Erasmus students, who are only temporarily in Magdeburg, were offered a great opportunity to meet new people and create their own souvenirs to take home. At the same time, international students bring a rich cultural diversity that benefits both Magdeburg and its residents.
